Kory And Liz Leonard Join New 102 Line Up

We’re happy to announce the addition of two new members to the New 102 family – Kory who will be joining us as our midday host and Liz Leonard who’ll take over the evening shift. Kory can be heard on air and online weekdays from 10:00a – 3:00p and Leonard from 7:00p – Midnight, starting Monday, March 5.

Kory comes to us from our sister station Q104 where he has been the evening host for almost two years. Leonard, returns to her hometown in Northeast Ohio after work at WJXA in Nashville and WGN in Chicago.

Here’s a quote from our own PD, Skippy“New 102 is committed to serving the Cleveland community with the best live and local programming and I am happy to have Kory and Liz join the station’s new line up.”.

Well I’m not happy with the Jen Toohey hire!!!!! So I hope Kory is a lot better!!! Time will tell!!!! You should have never gotten rid of Nancy!!!!!

I agree with you. After Jen moved to WDOK, the tone of the morning show and the Facebook postings changed. I miss Nancy also, and the old soft rock format. I’m not happy with the New 102, very disappointed. No 80’s lunch rewind, Delilah, Jim Brickman or other special kind of programming, just the same 20 songs over and over again for the next 3 weeks. And I change the station whenever WDOK plays Rihanna, recently added Pink songs, Adele, Bruno Mars, Nickelback, Evanescence, Maroon 5’s Jagger song, Taio Cruz, Red Hot Chili Peppers, One Republic’s Good Life, Blackeyed Peas or some other artist or song that I can’t stand.

I wonder if the remaining DJ’s at 104.1 are going to move to WDOK. It sounds like CBS Radio wants to revamp 104.1 or sell the station. If they do revamp 104.1, the soft rock format better end up there.

If your all so unhappy with jen give her back! I miss her alot on Q104 and now you took my kory you all better be nice

Kory and Jen are both extremely talented people! Both are amazing radio talents and I wish them all the best on New 102. As for CBS Cleveland, if they were to sell 104.1 they would sell the whole thing, not just part of it. I love the New 102!

      1. Kory says:

        Thanks for the love!

I like that there’s more talk on the morning show but I agree with the comment on the repetition. You can get that on any other Pop station. It makes you sick of the song after awhile. But the most important thing is what happened to Jim???? All we here is “Jen Toohey filling in for Jim” when it comes time for the news. For how long? We want him back!!!! You can count me out if Jim is gone for good! I won’t be listening to you.
