Demi Lovato Opens Up About Being Bullied, Depression, And Recovery

In a recent interview with Fabulous Magazine in England, the Disney star, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Demi Lovato[/lastfm] opened up about her career that had a lot of promise and then how it spiraled out of control.

As a singer/actress, Demi Lovato,  was suppose to replace her friend, Miley Cyrus as Disney’s newest star. However with the success she was having she also suffered from bullying, an eating disorder, depression, drug and alcohol abuse, self-harm by cutting, betrayal from her father and rehab and she is only 19. The singer says she has no regrets about her personal struggles and her continual recovery.

How does a talented star like Lovato start out with so much success only to hit rock bottom and have to rebuild?

She writes an album that she deems is more mature. Unbreakable was released in September of 2011 relives a lot of the struggles that Lovato has gone through and continues to deal with. However, the album also covers love and self empowerment.

She also got tattoos across her wrists that remind her to “Stay Strong.” The tattoos also cover her scars from cutting herself.

    Demi is not sent to rehab because of drug addict and because she drinks. She dont use drugs and shes not alchoholic.
