That’s What She Drank Special Edition: Cinco de Mayo

In honor of May the 5th, I’m sharing with you my favorite margarita recipe, which was given to me by a bartender in Cali, which was given to him by his father. It is by far the best margarita I’ve ever had.

Yes, you could buy a pre-made mix, but why would you when it’s so simple to make?

Classic Margarita

3 oz Fresh Lime Juice

2 oz Silver Tequila

1 oz Grand Marnier (adjust to taste)

1 oz Agave Nectar (adjust to taste)

Salt

(These amounts are approximate and more of a guideline and should be adjusted to your personal taste.)

Rim glass by dipping in lime juice, then into margarita salt, fill 1/2 of the glass with ice.

Pour Lime Juice, Tequila, Grand Marnier and Agave Nectar in a cocktail shaker over ice. Shake – and strain into prepped glass.
